About Me

Christy: I am a Florida native from Delray Beach. I got my B.S. in Math Ed. from University of Central Florida and my M.Ed. in Education from Antioch University Seattle. I taught for 6 years in Washington State. I moved back to Florida in 2011, hated it, and moved back to Washington State. I live so close to Canada, I can walk there in about 10 minutes. I have taught Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre Calculus and many remedial classes in high school. I want to add more hands on activities to my classroom. I post about ideas I have found and have in teaching math.
